For many years, Hankin Ozone has been examining the possibility of making a domestic ozone generator based water treatment system. The EntrOzone eliminates E.coli and other bacteria, controls viruses, and inactivates protozoa like cryptospiridium. It oxydizes harmful chemicals, organics, and pesticides. The EntrOzone works on the multibarrier principle. It employs ozone as the core technology for oxidation and disinfection. Then it uses an ultraviolet quenching device that provides additional disinfection. It has filtration elements for the removal of byproducts, and in combination these three barriers provide a full treatment that protects the water supply from anything that may have been present as it entered the home.
